KLH commenced Stage 1 upgrade works on the 14 March 2022, to help address the client’s (City of Newcastle) immediate needs of safety, water quality and accessibility at the pools after extensive community consultation. Stage 1 of the Newcastle Ocean Baths Upgrade included the rebuilding and restoration of the pool, promenades, and pumping system, extending the design life of the facility for a further 50 years.
